King Fahd then reiterated the Kingdom's concern to deepen the ties of constructive
cooperation with all Arab countries to reach fruitful and positive results that serve their
people's interests while preserving the integrity of their territories and realizing their
security, stability and prosperity. He declared that the tour of Morocco, Algeria and
Tunisia recently undertaken by Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard
Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz comes within the Kingdom's endeavors in this respect,
and expressed appreciation of the Crown Prince's efforts to maintain the best of relations
with its sister Arab states.
The cabinet then passed a number of resolutions, including authorization of the Minister of
Foreign Affairs or his representative to negotiate with Portugal regarding a draft
agreement on economic, cultural and technical cooperation.
