Kingdom's consumption of dairy products on the rise

It has recently been reported that the annual consumption of dairy products by Saudis registered a substantial increase over recent years, reaching 58 kilograms in 1995 as opposed to 34 kilograms in 1975. Meanwhile, producers of dairy products have announced plans to install 250 refrigerated facilities in schools in different parts of the Kingdom to encourage students to purchase a variety of dairy products in preference to carbonated soft drinks.
