Saudi television plans 'Health in Hajj' broadcasts for 1418 Hajj

Saudi Arabian Television's Channel One plans to transmit 30-minute programs that will highlight health problems likely to occur during the peak of the Hajj season. The ten episodes of 'Health in Hajj ' will be broadcast daily starting from April 5, and will target pilgrims from within the Kingdom as well as those from abroad.

Meanwhile, Information Minister Dr. Fouad Abdulsalaam Al-Farsi has announced that work is in progress to transmit three Saudi radio programs via satellite through the ground station which transmits Saudi TV's Channels One and Two, and relay them on Arabsat. This would enable viewers and listeners all over the world to listen to and view the programs of these channels.
