Saudi Ambassador comments on new TV service

Saudi Ambassador to the United States Prince Bandar Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, speaking on behalf of Arab and Muslim communities throughout North America, has expressed his deep appreciation for the royal order of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz concerning the new telecast service for Saudi Television's Channel One, which is now available by satellite in the continental United States, southern Canada, northern Mexico, and the Caribbean.  The Saudi ambassador went on to praise the role of Prince Faisal Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, President of the Saudi Youth Welfare Organization, in the realization of this project, adding that it has enhanced the importance of the Saudi media in telecasting Hajj rituals for Muslims every year, in addition to news, cultural events and other coverage reflecting accurate images of the Kingdom's progress and development.
