Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz today received Chairman of the Omani Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura), Sheikh Abdullah Ibn Ali Al-Qatbi, who conveyed to him greetings from Sultan Qaboos of Oman.  King Fahd, welcoming Sheikh Al-Qatbi and his accompanying delegation in their second homeland, wished them a good stay in the Kingdom.  Sheikh Al-Qatbi expressed happiness over his meeting with the King, and praised the Kingdom's civilized development, calling it a matter of pride for every Arab and Muslim.  The meeting was attended by Prince Saud Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, Vice President of General Intelligence;  Prince Bandar Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States;  Prince Abdulaziz Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member;  Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Jubair, Chairman of the Shura Council;  Saeed Ibn Ali Al-Kalbani, Omani ambassador to the Kingdom;  and a number of other high-ranking officials.
Earlier, Sheikh Al-Qatbi and his accompanying delegation were received by Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, and Inspector-General.  During the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest.
