An official Saudi source has confirmed that the perpetrators of the Al-Khobar explosion were

Saudis, as announced by Interior Minister Prince Nayef Ibn Abdul Aziz.  The Kuwaiti newspaper

'Al-Watan' quoted the source as saying that foreign support was behind the incident, indicating

that what has been carried by certain western news agencies and published later by Kuwaiti

newspapers denying foreign support for the incident was untrue.  The source recalled the

Saudi Interior Minister's statement in which he regretted that what had happened was carried

out by Saudi hands and with support of others, in response to a question on the possibility of

foreign terrorist organizations carrying out operations in the Kingdom.
