On his return from a one-day tour of the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates and the

State of Qatar, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ibrahim Al-Naimi reported

today successful talks with the oil ministers of the three sisterly countries, and said that he

would pay similar visits to the State of Kuwait and the Islamic Republic of Iran later this week

as part of efforts being made by oil producers find ways to stabilize the global oil market and

improve prices.
