Al-Salami reports that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in a number of international
trade and industry exhibitions over the next six months, including one in Jordan from July 4 to
8, and in Syria from August 8 to September 1. There will be a "Made in Saudi Arabia" exhibit
in Johannesburg, South Africa, from September 23 to 28, and in Casablanca, Morocco, from
December 7-13. In October there is the Teheran International Exhibition from 1 to 9; the
Seventh Islamic Exhibition in Lebanon from 13 to 18; the Paris foodstuffs exhibition from 18 to
22; and the international exhibition in Tunis from October 23 to November 1. The Kingdom
will participate in the annual Arab exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland, from November 11 to 22. Meanwhile, it was reported yesterday that the number of the visitors to the Saudi pavilion at
the 1998 exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal, which was formally opened on May 22, has reached a
total of over 150,000.
