Al-Quds Committee meets in Casablanca

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal arrived in Casablanca yesterday to take part in the 17th session of the Al-Quds Committee, which, under the chairmanship of King Hassan of Morocco, will review the serious situation in the holy city of Jerusalem following the Israeli government's decision to extend the municipal boundaries in an attempt to alter its demographic, historical and political status. The committee, an affiliate of the Jeddah-based Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), comprises representation from Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Guinea, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Palestine, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, and Syria.
