SCH reports need for vegetable processing plant

The Saudi Consulting House has called on investors to set up a factory for the collection, sorting, freezing and marketing of surplus vegetables.  A recent SCH study proposes a factory with an annual productive capacity of 45,000 tons, and a required investment capital not exceeding SR 22.6 million (U.S. $ 6 million), with a possible workforce of around 50.  With an estimated production cost of SR 11.9 million (U.S. $ 3.17 million), the project can realize an annual revenue of SR 14 million (U.S. $ 3.7 million).
