Saudi Arabia qualifies for World Cup finals

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz received congratulations last night on the Saudi national soccer team's qualifying for the World Cup to be held in France in 1998.  Saudi Arabia qualified for their second successive World Cup finals after beating Qatar 1-0 in an Asian Group A qualifier match on Wednesday.  Salim Al-Swaid scored the decisive goal in the 63rd minute of the match.
