King Fahd welcomes South African President Mandela

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, together with Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, and a number of princes and officials, yesterday welcomed at King Khaled International Airport President of South Africa Nelson Mandela and his delegation, on a state visit to the Kingdom.  Later, King Fahd held official talks with President Mandela, which focused on ways of boosting bilateral relations between the two friendly countries as well as major international issues.  Participating in the talks were Crown Prince Abdullah, Deputy Defense and Aviation Minister Prince Abdulrahman Ibn Abdul Aziz, Royal Court Advisor Prince Abdul Aziz Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, Minister of State Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Khuweiter, members of the Council of Ministers, and a number of princes and officials, in addition to the South African Ministers of Defense, Energy and Minerals, and Public Utilities, and other members of the President's delegation.
