Prince Sultan arrives in Washington DC

Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General, arrived in Washington DC yesterday for a several-day visit to the United States of America.  Prince Sultan, who is scheduled to confer with U.S. President Bill Clinton and Vice-President Al Gore as well as a number of other senior officials, was welcomed at Andrews Airforce Base by U.S. Defense Secretary William Cohen, Saudi Ambassador to the US Prince Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, and other Arab ambassadors.

Prince Sultan is accompanied by an official delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Commerce Osama Faqih, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi, Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaid Al-Eiban, and Deputy Minister for Finance and National Economy Dr. Jobarah Al-Suraisry.
