The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council will sponsor a five-day business development mission to Saudi Arabia from March 1 to 5 for the purpose of exploring opportunities for expanding trade and investment relations between the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  The delegation of American business development officials from North and South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Louisiana, Illinois and Arizona will be joined by a representative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  The delegation will meet in Riyadh with the executive committee of the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council which is scheduled to convene on March 2.  The Council plans to follow up this mission with a series of seminars in the United States.

In a separate development, the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) is leading an investment and trade mission to Oman and to Saudi Arabia from March 7 to 14.  This mission is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
