Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz expressed his satisfaction with the vital accomplishments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in the service of the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations and praised the role of Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, at the 18th GCC Summit.

Following the cabinet meeting, Information Minister Dr. Fouad Al-Farsi said that King Fahd praised the constructive and fraternal atmosphere which characterized the GCC Summit discussions. This atmosphere underscored the concern of the states of the Council to achieve the aspirations of its peoples on the basis of the principles and objectives embodied in the GCC Charter.
