Population of Riyadh could soon reach four million

The Higher Commission of the Riyadh Development Authority has estimated that the population of the capital city, based on an annual increase of 200,000 persons each year, will be 4.1 million by the year 2000.   The study went on to say that currently, fifty percent of the residents of Riyadh are under 20 years old, with only three percent over 60 years of age.
