Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General today opened the Prince Sultan Center for Heart Disease and Surgery at the Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh.   The 160-bed center’s facilities for the cardiac diseases and heart operations include specialized surgery of seniors and infants.

At a press conference after the inauguration, Prince Sultan stated:  “The construction of this center will be followed by other steps in the service of the health of the citizens.”    He then alluded to the importance of the personnel who use the equipment, and expressed his thanks to the Saudi doctors, technicians, and nurses, and all pioneers in the field of medicine.   Commenting on the Saudization of medical positions in the Center, Prince Sultan said that this was the policy for all the Kingdom’s military hospitals.
