King Fahd congratulates U.S. President Clinton

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz today sent a cable of congratulations to William Jefferson Clinton on the occasion of his re-election as President of the United States of America. Referring to the historical close relations that exist between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the USA, King Fahd stated: "The two countries share a concern to enhance the pillars of peace, security and stability in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world." Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General, sent similar cables of congratulations to President Clinton.
