Minister of Interior Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz and Yemeni Minister of Interior Colonel Hussein Arab have signed agreements on bilateral security cooperation, and for the purpose of fighting illicit drug trafficking, and the trading and smuggling of mental intoxicants.

On his arrival in the Kingdom, Colonel Arab expressed deep satisfaction over the existing ties between the two countries in a number of spheres.   On his return home, he stated that the agreements constitute a positive development on the path of bilateral relations, saying that security, an essential matter for all, can only be realized through joint cooperation, and emphasizing that the pact comes in line with the directives of both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and President Ali Abdullah Salih.
