King Abdullah departs for the US

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz left Morocco today to travel to the United States, where he will be attending a conference on interfaith dialogue.
 

The meeting will be held at the United Nations from November 12-13.

In July 2008, the World Conference on Dialogue was held in Madrid, Spain on the initiative of King Abdullah. The conference ended with a call for a UN session on dialogue.

King Abdullah will also participate in the G-20 economic summit to be held in Washington, DC from November 14-15.
